Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange, marks its 6th anniversary with the launch of Crypto Ark-ade, an exclusive GameFi playground featuring a curated collection of Web3 games from popular blockchain networks like Base, Solana, and BNB Chain. The event celebrates GameFi's growth, which has surged to a $20 billion market in 2024, according to Bybit’s latest industry report.
The Bybit Learn GameFi Industry Report highlights a 35% rebound in the GameFi sector since August 2024, outpacing major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The GameFi market, now valued at around $20.3 billion, holds immense potential alongside traditional gaming, which reached $196 billion in 2023. The report also emphasizes the influence of prominent blockchains such as BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Polygon, with over 3,500 active Web3 games in the market.
The Crypto Ark-ade event offers a $360,000 prize pool for participants, with top players competing in two grand missions: Solo Mission and Squad Mission. These missions award multi-coin drops, points, and in-game assets, celebrating Bybit’s commitment to advancing the GameFi ecosystem.
Bybit Web3’s Crypto Ark-ade features popular games like "Catizen" on TON, "Sonic" on Solana, "ElfinGames," and play-to-earn titles like "Legend of Arcadia." According to Emily Bao, Head of Spot and Web3 at Bybit, the event offers something for every type of player in a seamlessly immersive Web3 experience.
